Discipleship Classes

Junior Action

Leader: Ms. Cora Smith

Our mission is to foster and encourage in young salvationists, ages 7-10, a love of God, an understanding of salvation and a love for The Salvation Army as a place of worship.

This program provides simple language and discussion opportunities for the children to understand the need for salvation.  The material is geared for spiritual growth, Bible Study and doctrine.

Goals and purposes are: -to provide a solid foundation for the development of Christ-like characteristics leading to vibrant spirituality, enriched fellowship and effective life-changing service – to foster, by example and challenge, in every young person, a love for God, a sense of belonging and a recognition of The Salvation Army as his/her place of worship.

Pioneers

Leader: Mrs. Lela Reid, Pioneer Coordinator

The Pioneer Club is a non-denominational bible-based program. With an enrolment of approximately 80 children (ages 5-12), 8 leaders and 10 helpers from the Trinity Bay South Area, the children take part in various activities to earn badges. These activities and badges are based on stories from the Bible and life skills.
